The electrode coating is made up of various minerals, iron alloy organic compounds and chemical products (such as sodium silicate). The composition of the electrode coating is quite complex. There are seven or eight kinds of composition in the electrode coating.
The composition of the electrode coating is very complicated. According to different uses, the following are several kinds:
1) arc stabilizing agent. It is a kind of easily ionized substance, which uses more potassium, sodium and calcium compounds, such as potassium carbonate, feldspar, chalk, water glass and so on. It can improve the stability of the arc combustion and make the arc easy to ignite.
2) slag making agent. They are all minerals, such as marble, manganese ore, hematite, Jin Hongshi, kaolin, granite, feldspar, quartz and so on. After the slag, it is mainly some oxides, including acid silica, two antimony oxide, five oxidation two sulfur, and alkaline calcium oxide and manganese oxide. Ferric oxide, etc.
3) gas making agent. Organic matters, such as starch, dextrin, sawdust, and inorganic substances, such as calcium carbonate. These substances can produce a large amount of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and so on when the electrode melts, encircling the arc and protecting the metal from oxidation and nitriding.
4) deoxidizer. The common use of ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, titanium and so on.
5) alloy agent. There are commonly used ferroalloys, such as ferromanganese, ferrochrome, ferromolybdenum and ferrovanadium.
6) slagging agent. Commonly used fluorite or titanium dioxide to dilute slag to increase its activity.
7) adhesive. Water glass acts as a binder to bind and bind the components of the skin.
