Common cemented carbides are divided into three categories according to their composition and properties: W-Co, W-Ti-Co, W-Ti-Ta (Nb). Tungsten and cobalt and tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide are the most widely used in production.
Tungsten cobalt cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt. The brand name is YG (“hard”, “cobalt”), followed by a percentage of cobalt content. For example, YG6 represents a tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide with 6% cobalt content and WWC = 1-wCo = 94%.
Tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide (WC), titanium carbide (TiC) and cobalt. The brand name is YT (“hard”, “titanium”) and the percentage of titanium carbide content is added. For example, YT15 represents tungsten titanium cobalt cemented carbide with titanium carbide content of wTiC = 15%.
Tungsten titanium tantalum (niobium) cemented carbide
This kind of cemented carbide is also called universal cemented carbide or universal cemented carbide. The main components are tungsten carbide (WC), titanium carbide (TiC), tantalum carbide (TaC), or niobium carbide (NbC) and cobalt. The brand number is represented by code number YW (“hard” and “ten thousand” in Chinese phonetic alphabet) plus ordinal number.铜焊丝,Copper Welding Rods,铝焊丝,aluminium welding wire,镍焊条,Nickel electrode,药皮焊条,Flux Coated Brazing Welding Rods
