1) Wire feeding: wire filling inside and wire filling outside
External wire filling can be used for backing and filling, is to use a larger current, the welding wire head in the front of the groove, the left hand pinch welding wire, constantly sent into the pool for welding, the groove clearance requirements are small or no clearance.
Because of its advantages of large current, and small clearance, so high production efficiency, easy to master operation skills. Its disadvantage is that when used as a base, because the operator can not see the blunt edge melting and reverse residual height, it is easy to produce not fusion and not ideal reverse forming.
The left thumb, index finger or middle finger is used to feed the wire, and the little finger and ring finger are used to clamp the welding wire to control the direction. The welding wire is close to the blunt edge of the inside of the groove and melted together with the blunt edge for welding. The gap between the groove is required to be greater than the diameter of the welding wire.
Because the welding wire is on the opposite side of the groove, you can clearly see the melting of the blunt edge and the welding wire, and the peripheral vision of the eye can also see the situation of the reverse residual height, so the weld fusion is good, and the reverse residual height and fusion can be well controlled.
The disadvantage is that the operation is difficult, requiring the welder to have more skilled operation skills, because the gap is large, so the welding amount has a corresponding increase, the gap is large, so the current is low, the work efficiency is slower than the external wire filling.
2) Welding handle, divided into rocking handle and mop
Rocking handle is to press the welding nozzle on the weld with a little force, and the arm is greatly shaken for welding.
Because the welding nozzle pressure on the weld, the welding handle is very stable in the process of operation, so the weld protection is good, good quality, appearance forming is very beautiful, the product qualification rate is high, especially the welding is very convenient, welding stainless steel can get very beautiful appearance of color.
The disadvantage is that it is very difficult to learn, because the arm shakes a lot, so there is no welding where there is an obstacle.
Mop is the welding nozzle lightly or not in the weld above, the right little finger or ring finger is also on or not on the workpiece, the arm swing is small, dragging the welding handle for welding.
Its advantage is easy to learn, good adaptability, its disadvantage is that the shape and quality is not good, especially the inverted welding is not easy to apply welding, welding stainless steel is difficult to get the ideal color and shape.
3) the arc
Arc starting generally adopts arc starting device (high frequency oscillator or high frequency pulse generator), tungsten pole and welding parts do not contact ignition arc, no arc starting device when the contact arc starting (mostly used for site installation, especially high altitude installation), available copper or graphite on the welding groove arc.
But this method is more troublesome, the use of less, the general use of wire gently stroke, so that the welding parts and tungsten direct short circuit and fast disconnect and ignition arc.

4) welding
After arc ignition, the welding parts should be preheated at the beginning of 3-5 seconds, the formation of molten pool after the beginning of wire feeding. Welding gun moving forward to smooth, left and right swing is a little slower, the middle is a little faster.
Pay close attention to the change of molten pool, pool molten pool becomes larger, weld width or concave, to speed up the welding speed or adjust the welding current.
When the fusion pool is not good and the wire feeding is immovable, the welding speed should be reduced or the welding current should be increased. If it is bottom welding, the attention should be focused on the two sides of the edge of the groove, and the corner of the eye should be on the opposite side of the seam, and pay attention to the change of the rest of the height.
5) arc
If the arc is closed directly, it is easy to produce shrinkage hole. If the welding gun with arc trigger should be interrupted or adjusted to the appropriate arc current and slow arc closing, if there is no arc trigger welding machine, the arc will be led to the side of the groove, do not produce shrinkage hole, such as shrinkage hole to be polished clean before welding.
If the arc is in the joint, the joint should be polished into a inclined mouth, until the joint is fully melted and then forward welding 10-20mm and then slowly arc, can not produce shrinkage.
